The Practice


Eastern Gynaecology consulting rooms were established in 1999. Five female consultant gynaecologists provide a range of services in general gynaecology including colposcopy, general and advanced laparoscopic surgery, through to infertility services and IVF. (Please refer to individual practitioners for their area of special interests and services offered.)

The rooms are located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, in Mitcham, convenient to local shops and public transport.

All of the specialists have operating sessions and admission privileges at Mitcham Private Hospital; some of the practitioners also admit and have operating sessions at other hospitals including Knox Private, Warringal Private and Epworth Eastern Hospital. Consulting sessions are mainly located at the Mitcham rooms; however, depending on the practitioner, patients may also be seen at Knox Private Consulting Rooms in Wantirna and Epworth East Wing Tower Consulting Suites in Box Hill.

The doctors at these rooms do not offer obstetric services.

Eastern Gynaecology is offering telehealth consultations where appropriate. Some appointments may be conducted initially over the telephone followed by a face-to-face consultation as required. Please contact reception on (03) 9873 0178 to enquire about the type of consultation which is most appropriate for you. If you have a new referral, this will likely be required to decide if you are suitable for a telephone consultation.

– which will typically be within 1-2 weeks
